Scope
This policy applies to every ReptoState transaction — investor onboarding, token purchases, secondary market trades, withdrawals, and partner/agent commissions.
Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification
Every investor must complete identity verification before transacting. We collect: full legal name, date of birth, mobile number, CNIC (for Pakistani residents) or passport (for overseas Pakistanis), a selfie or live liveness check, and proof of address less than three months old.
Higher transaction tiers (above defined thresholds) require enhanced due diligence — source-of-funds declarations, employment/business information, and tax identification.
Sanctions and PEP screening
Every investor and counter-party is screened against international sanctions lists (UN, OFAC, EU, UK HMT) and politically-exposed-person registers. Matches trigger enhanced due diligence; confirmed matches are rejected.
Source of funds
Investors must declare the source of funds used to invest. Patterns inconsistent with the declared source — for example, third-party payments, structuring patterns, or high-velocity inflows — trigger review and may result in account suspension.
Transaction monitoring
All transactions are logged and monitored in real-time. Automated rules flag unusual patterns; a compliance officer reviews flagged transactions. We escalate suspicious activity to the Financial Monitoring Unit (FMU) of Pakistan as required by law.
Record-keeping
KYC documents, transaction records, and audit logs are retained for the minimum period required by Pakistani law (currently 10 years) in a manner that protects investor privacy while remaining accessible for legitimate regulatory enquiries.
Reporting suspicious activity
If you observe behaviour on the platform that you believe involves money laundering, terrorist financing or other illicit activity, please use our whistleblowing channel or email compliance@reptostate.com.
